Oak Ridge is a city located in Anderson and Roane Counties in eastern Tennessee, about 25 miles northwest of Knoxville. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 27,387. Its nicknames are the Atomic City, the Secret City and the City Behind the Fence. (More Info and Source)
